NATO is an alliance between nations, not politicians. You can't just leave an alliance because a politician is completely deranged.

Hopefully Trump will be short-lasting because he's a disaster on all fronts, not just that he seriously thinks Gaza need a "final solution".

I would like to agree but i can't. Before Trump it was Biden, and in Gaza it was horrible. The problem is the nation we are allied with, or at least the entirety of its establishment, and not just one administration.

NATO must go, EU must be independent and have its own army.

That can also work! But NATO is pointless without US. NATO is the form of US military control on EU. We Europeans don't trust each other, and rather trust a foreign power. I mean, it makes sense all considered. But we should do more than this! We need a European Army everyone can trust.
