From direct, hurtful experience I can say this is true. My best friend of 20yrs was one minute hanging, smoking joints, laughing at Trump, gardening. He starts watching the JRE & two yrs later he's a bitter, misogynistic, antisemitic bully with zero joy.

I hate Joe Rogan for this above all else.

A lot of the tech companies moved to Austin under the guise of rising costs in California.
When it happened, I told a coworker that it was because they dont like CA worker rights. Texas is red and okay with treating people like shit. They like the least amount of regulation, so this is no surprise.
