It's hard to realize what you had with Democrats, when the Democratic party conceded the area to Republicans in 2008. The Democratic party in 2024 didn't bother to field a candidate for any of the county offices on the ballot, 4 of the 5 House of Delegates races on the ballot or the Senate race.
