The trick is to also freeze the toppings. My son likes to cook up a whole tray of chicken strips and freezes them. Then on frozen pizza night, he tops his with chicken and my husband and I add extra cheese and Italian herbs
Sooo good on pizza like this. I’ve been growing basil and chives as pest control companion plants to my tomatoes (and marigolds but those don’t go on the pizza). So perfect that everything is in the same container!

In the fall I like to do delacata squash and sage and some soft cheese. Makes a 5$ grocery pizza into a 25$ fancy pizza.
