We had our first offline NCRC session, led by Dr. Subhashree Basu on 21 December, and it was an enriching afternoon of discussion on Washington Irving at Seagull Books, Kolkata. The discussion was followed by a lively Q/A, and deliberations on the contours of research on Romantic studies.
