Love this. They are sociologists. Bearman co-directed my post doc program - our 1st seminar we discussed "when do you know you are done with a research question?" Bearman's answer was (I'm paraphrasing 20 years later): "when the answer is beautiful." That may be the soc vs epi distinction!
