Would love to hear what this would look like in say a 600 student school. If 2shots gives 97% effectiveness and 1shot 95%, what happens if there is one exposure vs continuing exposures in an outbreak. How many cases would result by the end of the year. I think the public needs to hear it.

A great many people died from measles, it's one of the most contagious diseases out there. You never heard of it because there's a vaccination that prevents it.

It’s tragic. Presumably the family involved took advice from well funded,anti-vaccine advocates,who continue to press a hypothetical(+much disproven)adverse reaction to measles vaccine,ignoring much greater, far more established, serious risk of a complication from measles.

I would encourage you to accept that we can not prevent what people choose to bring on themselves. I just want the right of subrogation for when government picks up the hospital and funeral bills of these kids. This will get much much worse across the country.

Has RFK said anything at all about this outbreak? Or will he follow the tradition of Reagan, who ignored HIV. As ever, the Act Up slogan, Silence=Death, is apt. Pretending a devastating disease does not exist will not make it magically disappear.
