The U.S. government is without question a threat to Americans and to other countries. This does not preclude terrorist attacks from entities outside the country.

lousy leadership makes you an easy target, and makes america dangerous and unpredictable. Nothing worse in international relations than being unpredictable. Unpredictable nuclear powers are the terrorists.
