Eh. The US will be fumbling for at least the next 4 years. Trump already abandoned the Kurds once, leading to involved officers resigning based on shame IIRC.

Agreed. In most areas it’s impossible to sustain SDF presence. Hoping some areas will be governed by Kurds. Not just in eastern Syria. Many options if they are serious about it.
Actually, there is not much the US can do about areas they have no presence in. It is not up to the US what happens to minorities, it is up to HTS and Turkey. And they should be held accountable for what they do.
