I was much the same before I med my 365 day sketch challenge. Accepting that some things won't be perfect, or even good, is the only way to move on.

I haven't exactly done such but tried things in my own way years ago, before a depression hit that made me quit for two years. Anyway, drew every day something a bit, whatever for way over a year. It was a nice streak, but my mentality is what it is and right now surrounded by toxicity...

Yes, thank you! Putting a finished piece under the hammer means you have to re-harden it, re-anneal it, re-grind it and then probably redo it's handle because the material probably burned off in the heating process!

Hammering hardened steel can also shatter it!
