This and COVID should be/have been *huge* wake-up calls that political journalists need much stronger science and technology skills if they’re going to make sense of how government operates, communicates, or makes decisions.

Wired has been fantastic recently.
It’s really interesting that much of the best *political* reporting in the US is coming from tech journalists and tech-savvy reporters.
Sort of reminds me of 2008-10 when a lot of the best political news was being broken by finance-savvy reporters.
