I just finished @rebeccamakkai.bsky.social’s THE GREAT BELIEVERS.

It’s a remarkable chronicle of the AIDS epidemic anchored in 1980s Chicago.

It was the only book I ever bought from The Library Cafe in Germantown. I hate that it closed. Places that bring people together around books are great.
