Beware. This guy is adding good people to block lists. Check block lists before you subscribe and block all. Toxic people used them a while back on Twitter to hurt good people for personal reasons.

There are some good blocklists, but they can definitely be abused. I prefer to curate my own based on my own interactions, something bluesky could streamline in their UI

The huge problem with blocklists is that you don't apply it once but you subscribe to it. Even if you check all the people on the list the creater can just add people later on and you don't even realize I am pretty sure

Is that how it works? I see that for "starter packs", it does not. I guess because it's a "subscription" it may work in the way you describe.

If so, yes, all it takes is a bad actor or account compromise to render a blocklist useless.

I thought starter packs were just lists and not a special concept. I know that I've looked at starter packs I've "followed all" on, and see a smattering of unfollowed accounts that are new. I also haven't bothered to look at bsky's documentation so my lack of understanding is my own fault
