Yes. I read a couple of webcomics in Spanish there. There aren't many sites for Hispanic speaking creators so I think Facebook is one of their alternatives 🤔
I still have comic rocket, which is hit & miss. Mostly I bookmark the artist sites & check regularly.
Not a big fan of webtoons & tapas, so rarely open them.
I read on ComicFury and follow creators social medias for updates, similar to what I did for webtoon but I follow way less comics on there these days, ComicFury and honestly tumblr just feel more indie and cozy.
RSS reader, but I go to their websites to reread or catch up in large chunks sometimes.
(there are actually several webcomics I lost track of years back because their RSS feeds stopped working, or moved with no warning, or something - I keep meaning to scoop them up again!)
They overwork and underpay their employees, there's tons of testimony from comic artists who used to work for them. You can't moderate your comments, and we've had harmful things posted where young readers can see it. They allow an off-putting amount of content that romanticizes sexual assault.
Basically, the culture on that site is horrible, and it's more work than its worth. You can delete comments, but you can't fully block people, and you don't get notifications for if people comment or reply.
A bit of both. I've got my favorites saved in my browser so I can jump to them when I want to. Social media helps too but I don't hop on every week to read the next page. Life keeps me jumping so I usually end up catching up every few weeks haha
I bookmark people's websites! there's a few I keep up with weekly that I know the update schedule, but some of them I leave off for a few months and then go binge it.
definitely! also if a webcomic I like has links to webcomics they like, or are made for their friends, I love checking those out. i need to set one up on the hvid site still aha
I always read on their own websites if it’s available. I keep up with it by making a list on socials to see updates when I’m specifically in the mood for reading.
If not, I’ll read on one of the host sites. I prefer GlobalComix & NamiComi. I avoid WT & Tapas if possible, not a fan of censorship.
I usually read them on their own website, webtoon or on the creator’s patreon! For the ones that I follow on their websites, I just have tabs endlessly open and remember when they update, look from time to time or get remembered by the creator on their social media.

Sometimes webtoons or similar.
Occasionally when they post about new updates on social media.
But if I'm left to remember to go check them on my own, I'm 100% gonna forget.

(Je pensais pas être aussi excitée de lire et répondre à un commentaire en français haha)
