Hahaha, interesting analogy because I already think of Appmon as 'Digimon meets Megaman NT'. That said, we really need that crossover and it's not entirely impossible (though unlikely) since Digimon has already collaborated with Monster Hunter at least.

Yeah, MetalGarurumon was heavily considered in the design; though it was kind of tricky figuring out how it should work.

I think it would have came out a little better if I really did lean into Wolfmon a bit though; even a little Agnimon would have been good for Gatchmon too all things considered.
