Cargomon is a very definitive Digimon design IMO; and would easily make it into my top 10 list of favorite Digimon if I were to ever make one. World building wise: It gives further perspective that most Digimon are formed by large collections of Data.

The data forms the Digimon, shapes their evolution, and molds what they ultimately are. So heavily agree! Limitless potential for all Digimon and solidifies how they live parallel to us.

Agreed! Though in this case I'm thinking moreso in the sense of how Digimon might form their societies around what they can turn into via evolition, I.e. air transportation in the case of Cargodramon. I think Cargodramon even serves as Police helicopter of sorts in the Digimon Seakers for example.

I see! Kind of how in Digimon Frontiers, Trailmons are all over the place as the main way to travel in that digital world.

Makes you wonder how all those tracks, stations, and so forth were formed... Built? Always there? Who knows! Not to mention what the Trailmon groups are like. Curious things!!

Not to shabby of a plane, but I think the A10 Thunderbolt II a.k.a. "Warthog" is cooler, that thing is basically a rocket powered plane with a gatling gun mounted on it.

Yeah, I can see the resemblance! I like Coelamon a lot too, and now I want a boat Digimon for it to evolve into in a similar style as Cargodramon, lol. Although I see no reason for Coelamon --> Cargodramon to not be a thing in and of itself🤔.

Would totally love seeing your art of them if you choose ^^ It's a silly line that starts as a helicopter looking fella, and then the propeller and jet planes I posted. As you might imagine they have incredible speed lol
