It's not an echo chamber though. For me it's developing into a place you can talk / watch a football video without being served up some gross xenophobic/racist video you really didn't want to see.

It’s supposed to be an online equivalent of your social circle. If someone started being a racist and xenophobic bigot in real life you wouldn’t be expected to keep engaging with them. Why should online be different?
What’s stopping the lunatic fringe that exists over on X migrating over here?
I also don’t miss the rage baiting and cryptocurrency adverts.

When was the last time you’ve had this much legitimate engagement from real human beings on a Tweet? That legitimate interaction from people with very different experiences and viewpoints was the best thing about Twitter and it’s almost entirely gone there. It’s filtered out now.
