I hate that this is right, but it is.
Europeans would be very foolish to think they can wait 4 years and NATO will snap back.
-4 years is a long time
-US unlikely to have free & fair elections
-Even if it does, Dems might lose
-Even if they win, US could be 4 years away from being anti-NATO again
