The blue scales are indications of dragon-flame hardened tainting, the same way with iron s it change color upon heat.
The yellow are lore-wise external change to a celestial influence: Solarian marks. I hope I can record them in time in my arts better.

Oh nice, didn't realize the color additions had lore behind them, too. Always a cool thing to me when character changes have actual story behind them!
