My latest, on the importance of thinking ahead, in line with Trump’s rapidly worsening behaviour: we need to be prepared to respond, not to what Trump has done to us to date, but to what he’s likely to do to us in future

Excellent piece Andrew. No one wants to write about Trump’s seeming descent into mad behaviour. He’s a pawn of the rich who have him exactly where they want. His administration will, as you say, likely collapse. But when?
Worst case is even worse: the realization that the Russian empire may soon stretch from Ukraine to NYC, via Vancouver, Greenland and the Mexican border…plus Gaza (gift for Ivanka). It’s happening now, very quickly. This is the check mate scenario. Think bigger, they do.
Thank you for this. A full, objective review of this person’s stunning psychopathology is long overdue. If legacy media had shown this kind of rational courage a decade ago, the world might have been on a very different trajectory.

You help empower their nonsense.
Yeah, lots of us imagined and predicted that Trump would be a dictatorial madman.
Similarly, lots of us imagine and predict that Poilievre will be an autocratic tyrant if he takes power, yet the G&M fully endorses him.
Forget $1.5B a year defence increase.
Think a nuclear sub a year +.
I'm sure there will be a Maga kickback or 2.
