Uzel is also interesting. I've never heard it before. French? Turkish?
I also like the name of one of my 5th Gr Grandmothers: Chew. Chew was her mother's maiden name, and the mother passed it to her daughter as her given name.
Charlotte, Clayton, and Victor were still alive for the first few years of my life. Mabel died a few months before I was born, and I was born on the day Blanche died ~15 years earlier.
The trolls are out hopping into my mentions. I hope we all know by now how to create a secure password or security answer…surprise, it’s not your grandparent’s name. 🙄. This really was just for funsies! If you used their names for security purposes and answered please delete. 🤷🏼♀️
My sons first and middle name is named after both of my wife's grandfather's. Russell Edward.
If it were my grandparents it would be David, Iris, Maureen, or Roland
Thank you! My mother is from Scotland, from the Outer Hebrides where Gaelic was her first language. Her name was Lachlanina, pronounced Lachlan-eena. My father’s parents were from Ireland. I’m very proud of my heritage and have given my children Scotch/Irish names.

It's why we avoided names from our lineage!!
But I will not name my daughter Elinor Geneva.
