Oh, thanks. I lived at 319 Robert Adam Crescent for about a year in the early 80s. Very much looking forward to the second part.

You dont see many people writing much about the Turkey lane Monsall scheme in North Manchester yet it was supposed to have been worse than the Hulme Crecents

You had people set fire to their flats on Turkey Lane just to get rehoused

From pics I've seen TLM was just marginally worse than Hulme

You should look at Oak and Eldon Gardens in Birkenhead. Another 'moving people out of slums into somewhere unlivable' disaster, though not quite in the scale of Hulme Crescents
