the dual swords are supposed to be engraves beneath the hilt. when/if nai takes over in battle, they're more dark-aspected ( helps feed without hurting ian or innocents ); when ian fights, often times they're unaspected ( will turn "dark" if nai is hungry/unfed but not 100% in control
