These properties of the antibody response alone were able to explain ~80% of the hospitalization risk from COVID-19 in this cohort. So... quite important. From this vantage point, IgG4 could be ideal for preventing severe COVID-19 because it is a potent neutralizer with weak activation of CD16A.
