What's the TV Tropes term for when a seemingly minor part in a TV show is played by a recognisable actor which gives it away that the character is going to turn out to be more important later on?

It doesn’t quite capture the scenario where someone is cast in a fairly minor role and subsequently becomes much more famous but you don’t watch it until they ARE famous so you assume it will be overcasting but it turns out that no, it really is Brad Pitt as the waiter…
Not sure, but my partner always says you can tell who the murderer is because it's the highest paid newest actor in the show that isn't part of the usual cast

Morse

To name but three or anything else, mostly on ITV, because BBC no longer really makes crime drama with famous actors
