It’s hard not to say 7. 7 isn’t my favorite, but it is by far the most iconic. Other good ones would be 9, 10, 6. 16 is far from the typical JRPG style but it will look incredible on pc
So start with 7 first and then go with 9 through 16? I have played xiv online for a while but took a break bc of moving and all. But storyline games I need to play lol
Looots of people aren’t fans of 13, I’ve not played so I can’t say personally. But yeah 9 and 10 are consistently up there in people’s favorites of the series. I also loved 12 but it too is a bit polarizing
I think 4, 6 and 9 are the best entry points. 1-3 barely have any story or well written characters to the point where I kinda recommend skipping them and 7-8 didn't age that well in my opinion and can be a bit overwhelming to start from them nowadays.
