In raw numbers, Arsenal are missing 6 players, 1 of which might be available today (left screenshot). Spurs are missing 9 players (next 2 screenshots; wouldn't fit in one):

In terms of qualitative impact of injured players missed, for Arsenal, Saka is their best player and the source of much of their attack. Jesus has recently played himself back into the team. For Spurs, among 5 defensive players (back 4 + keeper) in the first 11, Spurs are missing 4.

So no matter how you slice it--raw numbers / lack of depth or first-11 / key player impact--Spurs have it worse on both fronts. There's no 1 player in the Premier League whose absence is equivalent of a team losing their starting keeper and 3 out 4 starting defenders, plus some of their backups.

I'm doing this before the match bc the media narrative is already written for both outcomes: Spurs win & it's because they took advantage of a 'depleted' Arsenal; Arsenal win & it's 'depleted' Arsenal valiantly fight off their rivals. There will be no account of the fact Spurs are the depleted ones.

Correction: First in this thread should probably say Spurs are missing 4-5, not 5-6, with 5 being about as reasonable as saying Arsenal are missing 2. Hard to guess with how many rotations happen by circumstance in real life football. Also safe to say Arsenal have a deeper squad.

Yeah, they are missing 2 nailed on starters + 2 maybes (saka/white + jesus/calafiori) whereas we are 4+1 (Vic/VdV/romero/udogie + bentancur)
And that ignores richy just coming back, and fact we've played twice/week with 11 players out..
