Like I scrolled twt a couple times yesterday and I saw a bunch of ppl I haven't seen in forever and I miss them, but also twt has such a high rate of upsetting me compared to bsky I really don't want to bring it back into my daily life

But also I had no idea manhattan monstrosities was closing until I saw someone mention it offhand today and yet when I looked at their twt they announced it like a full MONTH ago and I hate this feeling of no longer being connected to the pulse of the community

same. 😢 I havent scrolled through twt in ages and I feel left out of the loop with a lot of shop announcements or updates and comments from community, but even going there to check DMs gives me anxiety. 😭

Are either of you in the Dickscord? That's where I get all of the Twitter news. Shop announcements are all up to date and current there. That's how I've been staying in the loop while using this site as my only social media. Nuking Twitter was the best thing for my mental health. 😔

I feel ya there! I only lurk in a couple of them to follow shops or as Patreon rewards. Discord gives me social anxiety because I can't keep up with conversations for the most part. 🤪

I've been trying to make the switch but there are so many things i wish they'd fix 🥲 like i can't figure out how to search a term only by users i follow. For example trying to search for kit trade posts here wasnt as easy as on the other app
