The GO ALRT Hurontario Line was proposed in 1982 by the Government of Ontario as part of a larger transit project in the GTHA. This line would have connected Port Credit, Mississauga City Centre, and Downtown Brampton to the GO Transit Georgetown and Lakeshore West Lines.
