Sometimes I wonder if white progressive Christians, especially those who used to be evangelical, are so busy looking in the mirror or back at the white evangelical churches they left that they forget the rest of us exist. But, sure, keep talking about justice and "the Church."

Also, but also an experience thing. Newly encountered ideas and communities never really form us the same way.
I try to keep "we" to own my complicity in some stuff, but I'm sure that fails sometimes.
