Someone let me know my art was being stolen (again), this time on Temu.
She reported it & the listing seems to be removed now.
But it’s a reminder to pls not shop on Temu, esp art stuff. Even at a glance, so much of it is obviously stolen from independent artists 😢.

It is very rampant on such sites these days, and they just will say it’s the individual seller’s (on the site) responsibility or some nonsense to avoid being accountable.
The Internet: a blessing and a curse (writes Ms Obvious).
Sorry your art got jacked, that's messed up.
If you like an artist, check if they have a shop, or a link to a shop on Inprnt or similar. If they have licensed their art, they will usually say it is available -
These thefts persist partly because we all are addicted to good deals and discounts. But in many cases, there’s a reason it’s so much cheaper - it’s a fake, it’s stolen, it uses exploited labor etc.
There is a price for everything, and someone, somewhere pays for it.
I mean, if this had been licensed, I would have gotten paid. I then pay taxes on that. If my work is always stolen, I don’t get paid, so I can’t pay taxes on those lost earnings either.
