The people who were let go at Ubisoft today were wickedly smart, generous, and deeply hardworking. Any company would be lucky to have them, I was so lucky to work with them.

And not a single one of them made the decision to try to compete with CoD with a F2P shooter based on Ubisoft's least well-known characters, but they're the ones who pay the price for that decision. It's so frustrating to see this keep happening.
Toxic positivity is why these people made bad games and got fired. When you aren't allowed to question anything because you'll be cast out as a bigot, this is the end result.
