I can't say what they'll be in 2026, but here's all the official information for 2025 (I think the govt.-permitted maximum increase year-on-year is 6%): https://www.otago.ac.nz/study/fees

Looking at their Example 2 for a semester paper in Arts (FREN232), the 2025 cost is $1,040.70 - I would imagine there is some additional application fee, but distance students are exempted from the Student Services Fee (https://www.otago.ac.nz/studentservices/student-services-fee-information) so that's a small win.

Thanks, will have to consider. I only got 3 semesters of Latin and 2 of Ancient Greek, and I need to strengthen it.

I wish I could do it all over again, but I already have certificates in both. A refresher after a few decades has no benefit for me, but I miss especially studying Ancient Greek SO MUCH.
