I work in student financial aid and the amount of people starting over as freshman over the age of 30 and even 40 is really high. Also all of us who work at the university are really happy when people who have dropped/withdrawn enroll again. everyone has circumstances and you coming back is awesome

I know socializing might be a challenge but you're definitely not alone, you might accidently end up in a mentor role to a gaggle of younger freshman so be sure not to let them burn you out when they turn to you for guidance

man this is really reassuring, especially when it’s coming from someone who’s in the know about situations like this. i’m not the most patient person in the world either, but it would be a fun experience if i do end up being a mentor figure of sorts to some starry-eyes freshies
