There are only really 4 ways to cut them in Scotland.

1. Adopt nuclear.
2. Go back to fossil fuels.
3. Scottish taxpayer subsidises them.
4. rUK increases the subsidy it pays.

Saying Scotland has higher energy bills is misleading. Overall Scotland pays more because it has less access to the gas network and relies more on non-standard fuel. Scotland receives subsidies from all fuel consumers to partly mitigate this.
