This is what the left needs to hear. We need messaging discipline, we need tactical sophistication, and we need a protest culture that more readily allows us to identify the agent provocateurs that seek to discredit it. Tagging JANM (and small businesses) only helps the fascists.
As a Japanese American who LOVES that museum, I literally could not care less about some graffiti on a wall there rn. THIS is what she chooses to do with her time?
I'm all for cleaning it up... After we take care of the obvious fascism that's happening right now. This is not a priority. It's gonna get tagged up again if this ICE fascism doesn't stop.
Oh Karen I’m sure that cleaning that graffiti will matter when a fucking tank ‘accidentally’ levels the entire museum while trying to take down nonviolent protesters.
Shame on the vandals. Shame on ICE for their heavy-handed and unjust detentions that sparked such lashing out (assuming the vandals were in-fact, protestors, which is unclear).
Since she has become mayor she has done little to protect the residents of our communities, especially our homeless relations. Hopefully this is the start of her change.
news reporting that the Sheriff's dept. was OVERLY aggressive.. peaceful protestors.. Sheriffs used gas and rubber bullets unnecessarily. To break up a crowd that was 1/3 the size of the law enforcement on hand.
What about the LA people being trampled by LAPD and their horses? Sure, don't deface property but why aren't you visiting these cities and calling out your nasty ass police force!
If you let evil anywhere, it will fester and grow. This is why we need to get rid of police. Bring back peace officers
Not to me. Maybe she's just not a smooth public speaker. Maybe she'd rather be cleaning up than talking to a camera. There's nothing wrong with that. I don't do well in front of cameras, either.
Have little doubt that there are many bad actors from the other side infiltrating these protests. Be vigilant. Record bad behavior like you will police overreach. Separate yourselves from the bad actors. Add this to your list of demonstration do's and don'ts. Keep the faith. #GoodTrouble #NoKing
Should we post the picture of all the “bad actors” that the police have arrested for vandalism, looting, and violence since they’re “the other side infiltrating these protests”?
That makes no sense. Keep and document to protect the innocent. There's always people who get carried away, and those who support neither side of an issue, but use the confusion to loot and vandalize, but there have been many reports of instigators. You know--like the FBI at the Capitol.

Man, she sucks.
Bass is letting them violently abuse and assault peaceful protesters exercising their rights.

who don't have a horse in this race: get out of the way.
something needs to be done
something that may be illegal
why not? this regime is completely illegal
they do NOT play by the rules
so, it is time, like never before, to act in a way that brings about immediate change, or we may wake up tomorrow in a completely unfixable world
Great message.
