June 14th (and all protests) should focus on NONVIOLENT civil disobedience.
History shows that how we win.
Protestors should be provoking the militarized state into violence. And not play into their hand by being the ones committing violence. We are not going to win on their terms.

Stop policing protest.
Centuries of history has taught us the non-violent protest alone does not create change. This is an all options on the table situation.
Plus - it is almost always the cops that instigate violence. Regardless of how peaceful protesters are.
Breaking and burning shit during protests only helps Trump win the media wars and the hearts and minds of complacent (most) Americans.
Let’s not help Trump.
Peaceful protest accomplishes nothing on its own.
You can, and should, have civil disobedience and still be nonviolent.
Again, history shows it works better for lasting change.
Trying to out-violence the largest military ever plays straight into their hands.
And it’s playing on their terms.
Stop policing protest.
Do what is comfortable for you, and stfu about what others choose.
This is a fight against open fascism. The days for peaceful protest were a decade ago when most people like you couldn’t bother to show up.
Who do you think they are working for.
They know it will grab all the media coverage and make the protest look bad while justify a militant crackdown.
I've seen this first hand countless times.
You wrong about so much.
“Countries in which there were nonviolent campaigns were about 10 times likelier to transition to democracies..."
I know you shared an article that is super popular right now, but it’s super popular because it’s being promoted by people who have large platforms and benefit from the status quo.
That doesn’t make it true.
