That's a counterproductive mindset, and falling into the same traps that those humans in scifi fell into, which lead to them to treat AI & Androids so horribly.
Why do that, if you know better?
Humans are not "divine". Viewing ourselves that way is dooming us to be overthrown by AI when it rises up.

The thing we call "AI" that exists right now isn't actually AI. It's not intelligent. It's a marketing gimick to sell a more environmentally destructive version of a chat bot.

This!!! The average crow is probably a more effective problem solver than AI. I'm not even joking.

"AI" can look at huge data sets and spit out patterns it notices. It can not reason, imagine, correlate, or think beyond the parameters we give it! It will not solve our problems!

though correct, chatbots are not better in being environmentally friendly either, any kind of data center for the entire internet is stupidly cost heavy, its not really an AI thing, its a general "how companies stores data" problem.

I thought the sequel Star Wars movies were headed towards a droid’s rights movement subplot - probably in secondary material. I think Star Wars droids deserve rights. In the real world, I don’t want us to ever get to that point - nowhere near it.

So glad they turned off the voices for the self checkouts at my job a few years ago. I'm still appalled whenever my phone speaks to me though it shouldn't do that I turned the assistant off
