Ok, how many traditional artists are like me, and you want to share a WIP photo, but the camera throws such a huge temper tantrum about the colours, twisting them, because dunno, "colour correction hurrdurr!, I don't like the shade of brown you used!", till you just give up and go back to painting?

I see things looking great, the phone screen shows it perfect, but the end photo is just crap. :/
More often than not, I just have poor lighting and can't quite capture the original detail or color with camera, even with those post-capture adjustments.

Even using a grey or white card can throw up anomalies. Get one colour right and it can throw others off...
As for scanning, it always turns out more punchy than irl. Suppose it's because the art isn't being affected by irl lighting so the scanner gives a more "raw" result.
Which is why those color cards exist. But you need special software to use them. :P
