None of these bills ever seek to stop the theft done to artists or protect our data from being sold by big tech, it's always just about "when China does it, it's evil!"

Wow, so breaking into Treasury and downloading everyone’s personal and financial information is 100% legal but downloading the above mentioned thief’s competitor’s product is 100% illegal? Fucking nazis.
It's open-source. You can see what it's doing if you know how to program. You can even fork it and have your own version. This seems like a way to try to get Nvidia and Open AIs stock price back up, but the cats out of the bag and it's impregnating other cats.
Who, exactly, is trying to criminalize downloading Deepseek R1? I literally see no one pushing this. And it would be an exercise in futility because the cats already out of the bag anyway.
KEKW they can suck 200million dicks instead; I've already got it on my PC, Phone, I forked it, and I'll even set up a seed box to help people torrent it because unlike the hitler youth fumbling around in a db viewer: i actually know wtfuck I'm doing & I'll do it even harder everytime a chud oinks
100 million dollar fine? By that point they might as well put an infinity logo on the bill. No one is going to be able to pay that so no one is going to be scared off by that number either.
The tech bros know the end is near on the Ai bubble and though their arrogance they thought they were going to have a near monopoly on Ai for the foreseeable future. Nope.
