That anyone believes Jesus Christ would co-sign any part of P2025 is illustrative of the intellectual laziness of the evangelical right. They won’t even read the Bible, they’d rather be spoon fed everything.

“Don’t even bother looking at that, because It doesn’t mean what it says- it means what we say it means,” is baked into the Evangelical pie they’ve been fed since birth. That’s why they wouldn’t look at the J6 report, or read project 2025, or watch the impeachment hearings themselves.
It’s why they were already primed for COVID Denial and Election Denial. They are told to ignore experts on theology, experts on anthropology, experts on biology, and history. Only *their* experts. Only *their* “facts.” Everyone else is biased.
Conflating Christianity with the Alt-Right was a masterclass in manipulation. Most have no idea that these ideologies were born from the sick minds of segregationist pastors who only pivoted to attacking women’s healthcare and immigration when the overt racism lost efficacy.
It’s truly a tragedy how something as positively intentioned as seeking religion to learn morality and to be a part of a community has been shamelessly weaponized to making people attack themselves, and the ideals of their own country to the point they cheer as a sledgehammer is taken to it.
The founding fathers were well aware of the 100 year war that occurred between Christian groups in France.

Remember Northern Ireland?
But evangelical version of history says that the founding fathers were Evangelical Christians. This is why that alternative set of “experts” and “facts” are so very dangerous.
