Thanks for this! I had started a substack two months ago only to realize all this and so abandoned in. It's not even a very good platform, so appreciate the alternatives! Looking forward to trying them out!

I typed this whole thing up so I could just forward the full link to my beloved mutuals instead of having to personally email them one at a time as I watched them open substacks, a choice that made me want to tear my own hair out 🙃

Yes exactly. I know that no platform is pure and that moving sites is a huge hassle, but please understand what poisoned cup you are drinking from!
