I originally didn't even want to continue the initial sketch I did, but then I got a nice comment on said sketch with someone recognizing them (despite me never saying who they were meant to be) and it gave me a MASSIVE confidence boost and I... well, er, you see it above. 🥹

Drawing someone for the first time is always SO HARD, and especially when it's a RL person with distinct features that make them look... like THEM, you know. You gotta try and include stuff without making it look weird / uncanny, so it's always a struggle to figure it out. 😩

To draw a first sketch and post it despite the embarrassment / self-conscious feeling, and THEN have someone recognize what you did despite you yourself thinking 'nobody is ever going to know who this is, it looks NOTHING like that person'...it feels healing almost. Esp since I struggle with my art.

Also, I can already see me CRINGE at this art in the future. I know I didn't get everything right - for example, I need to make my style allow the hair to look a bit more curly. I'm just not used to it, so I apologize 😅
But it was a fun exercise anyways, bc I figured out the paper texture thing!

Tbh, I probably should have done some 'upper naked body Oscar Isaac' research there to get it more accurate... anyways, in my opinion, chest hair needed to be added so I did. 😅🔥👀
