A few days ago at the grocery store I had to climb up on the bottom of the freezer door and cling to the shelves with one hand while trying to grab what I needed with the other.
Mountaineering, basically. It was cold, I was trying to gain altitude, and not lose my handhold.

1 reason I'm not taking my washing machine with me when I move is because it's a BIG CAPACITY top loader and I literally can't get stuff out of the bottom. When Scott was here, he did.

Next one I'm getting a stacked washer/dryer, front load. I'm too short & too old to die INSIDE my laundry.

My mom (in her 70s) has joked one day her husband will find her tumbled in there with just her legs sticking out. Yet she refused to get a front loader when she got a new one. Natural consequences, I say.

I got to ask a tall burly man for help reaching something at the grocery store yesterday. He was so proud, it was cute 🫶🏼 and even he had to strain to reach it!!
