You can't fight fascism from inside a nazi bar. If you left twitter because of the proliferation of nazis but you're joining substack then you can't really be that bothered by the proliferation of nazis. At least on twitter you're not asking your readers to help fund nazi speech. It's that simple.

Something about how all platforms have Nazis and if I'm on Instagram, YouTube, or Spotify, then I'm a hypocrite who is just hurting people who don't have the money to write elsewhere... or something to that effect.

Meanwhile I left Spotify when they paid Joe Rogan, I don't really use YouTube, and the only thing I have posted on Instagram in months are collaborations when my girlfriend posts pictures of us. Lol

Thanks. What a snowflake, deleting their post. I’m with you: I stopped my Spotify subscription but will look at YouTube for how-to videos and if I get rid of Insta, I won’t know what my kids are up to on the weekends.

Haven’t you been on M$NBC? They can’t pretend they don’t know this. I know it’s hard to make a living within a den of snakes but if we ignored the oligarch’s/fascist’s platforms and focused on building our own we would be better. When I want cable news I put on Roland Martin’s channel.
