I so enjoyed meeting Neil Kinnock for this special celebration episode of The Bunker. He’s absolutely lovely, witty and perceptive. I wish he’d been PM when I was a kid.

The jokes and wit were wonderful. Only slightly sad he didn’t give us a classic chapel-inspired alliterative trio of political rhetoric as in the old days. :-)
From working class roots to the gravy train for life, and gets his son a safe Westminster seat while he was living abroad.
He also despises the Welsh language. He is not as popular as you might think here in Wales.
