I remain convinced that only hiring ATC with the intention that they will work for the gov't for 25 years is absurd. (The ATC hiring cutoff is 31.)
Has anyone done a study to prove that 25yrs is the standard length of employment? And how many potential 15-20 yr employees do they lose due to age?

You could do 25 years of the same job in the same control room and walk out with a decent pension. Plus, we get good government benefits, etc.
