Itβs hysterical watching people act as apologists to Wray when every woman in existence who engages with people on social media regularly deals with threats to their existence. The only difference is that Wray chose that life and had 38,000 FBI agents at his disposal.
Any elected official who cannot uphold their duty to protect the interests of their constituents; is derelict of their duty, and not fit to hold office.
Norms and civic values are *social* in nature, the main enforcement mechanism is elite coordination and that is primary done through social signaling. Capitulation begets capitulation, resolve begets resolve
The first elected official to get arrested for doing something transparently legal but opposed by the regime should be (and hopefully will be) held up as a hero and a leader.
Conservatives have successfully redefined being self-appointed strong moral champions into advocacy that the lowest demonic-inspired standards possible are too high & exceeding those abysmal standards is an act against all they value, those low standards are high aspirations. Or else.

Time to primary out all the peacetime Democrats.
