I have an idea. A couple years back I had the good fortune to participate in a read-aloud gathering—a group of people taking turns speaking the words of a short & meaningful essay. (Poetry would obvi work too.) Some of Douglass’ work would be excellent for that sort of activity. Thx for the prompt!
