Like Hitler didn't actually kill himself in the AC universe: he was killed by Assassins while en route to meet a Templar agent to give them back the Apple of Eden Henry Ford (also a Templar) had given him back in 1933.

So yeah, Henry Ford directly caused the rise of the Nazis in the AC timeline.

NGL one of the plot holes of having the assassins be meaningfully active in the modern era is that democracies are not, uhh, entirely consistent with the idea of a globe spanning Shadow war of assassination.

I feel like in the AC timeline there have been at least 15 presidential assassinations
